I’m a freelance lighting designer, assistant, and Eos programmer for theater, opera, dance, film & TV. I graduated from Rutgers University in 2022 with a BFA in Lighting Design, where I studied under the mentorship of the greats Don Holder & Cat Tate Starmer.
My career has spanned a wide range of projects & spaces - I’ve worked in the stinkiest basement theaters off-off Broadway, to the Guiness-record-holding largest stage on Earth (in Xi’an, China). I pride myself on my chameleon nature.
My love for lighting has always been with me, before I even knew what theater was. I used to write stories as a kid, and my favorite part about writing was describing the atmosphere of whatever world I was building. I think that is what “lighting design” is. Creating the atmosphere in which our world will live.
A couple words to describe me: collaborative, scrappy, dedicated, loyal.
