Sarah Woods is a Jersey City, New Jersey-based Lighting Designer for all forms of live performance.

She is a proud graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Lighting Design the winter of 2022. She spent her 2022 summer at Williamstown Theater Festival where she served as the Lighting Associate. Currently, she serves as the Lighting Supervisor of Alchemical Studios in NYC. You may also find her occasionally running the lighting at Brooklyn Art Haus in Williamsburg or Art House in Jersey City.

Sarah believes in the power of live theater to amaze, inspire, and change audiences. She frequently works on world-premiere plays and musical workshops - something she most values as a designer because of the opportunity for fresh collaboration. Sarah has helped to create shows throughout the tri-state area, as well as regionally in Arizona and her home state of Massachusetts. She hopes to explore the world via theater.
Feel free to reach out and let her know what you’re up to!

Say hi!
